Fairbourne is also the home of the Fairbourne Railway and you may well see and hear the trains which run past the Golf Club from its terminus in the village on its way down to Penrhyn Point for its passengers to catch a ferry across to Barmouth. There is also stopping point for the train by the Golf Club called ‘Golf Halt’ allowing passengers to alight and have a game of golf or visit the clubhouse.
At the conclusion of your round of golf, you can enjoy refreshments from the Clubhouse by way of a snack, meal or even a drink, and admire the views of the surrounding hills. Before you leave why not pop across the road onto the sea wall and admire views across the Cardigan Bay and towards the Lleyn Peninsular.
We offer a number of ‘Membership’ deals to prospective members. Please check our Membership section. We also offer a week long ‘Holiday’ membership. Apply in the Clubhouse for further information.
The Golf Club offers you to Pay & Play for either 9 or 18 holes, equipment hire, and a small golf shop to cater for your basic needs. Keep checking our ‘Facebook’ page as from time to time we have special offers on both golf and food from within the clubhouse.
Whether you are on holiday, a visitor to the area or just taking up the game, we shall look forward to welcoming you.
